A Financial FriendFeed
The sharing fever seems to be spreading. And this sharing of information that has been started by FriendFeed seems to grow and grow. And now we have FriendFeed for financial information - yours. Mashable’s Stan Schroeder has posted that Gezeo has introduced a new service that is personal financial equivalent of FriendFeed. Its called Friend and Feed.
And the idea behind seem twofold:
First, to create a financial lifestream. This is done by selecting certain financial events. The lifestream will enable its creator and user to monitor incomes and expenses.
Second, to share this lifestream with friends so that the creator can be given advise about on his financial matters. Friends as financial advisers.
I am not quite sure if this is for everyone. It could be helpful among family members or individuals with common financial interests ie they are investing money jointly. Or even among family members who are geographically far apart.
It is a no fuss way of sharing financial information. One just has to be careful on what financial information one wants to share. This is sensitive stuff.
