Bloglines vs Feedbuner
For some time now, Bloglines has been experiencing errors while attempting to retrieve posts from FeedBurner feeds. Marc commented about this on my post about Feedburner and b5’s Problogger wrote, more than a month ago, that FeedBurner knows about the problem and is working to resolve the issue. Meanwhile the problem is still not solved… Today I read a post on wirecatcher.com who writes about the fact that Bloglines and FeedBurner aren’t exactly willing to work with each other on the issue. Het got some emails from support teams which said “That’s FeedBurner’s problem” or “That’s Bloglines’ problem.” Not very professional you would think but I was surprised to see that Bloglines AND Feedburner commented on that post. Both Dick Costolo (”Nobody at FeedBurner should ever blame anybody else for an issue you’re having.”) and Paul Querna (”I am an Engineer from Bloglines, and I would like to help resolve this problem.”) tried to help, very good! You should think that it won’t take long now to solve this issue, let’s hope so…

Update: It turns out that wirecatcher had been using a temporary redirect in Apache… oops;)
