Bloglines Wishlist 2006
I’m using Bloglines for over a year now and I think it’s great! But lately I’ve seen all sorts of new refreshing stuff out there that I also would like to use. So I’ve made a short list with some features I would really like, in the hope that somebody at Bloglines will do something with it… Here it is:
- Keep track of what I read and make suggestions (no, not the “related feeds” feature but more like “related posts”).
- With all the data Bloglines has they must be capable of providing some sort of attention service… Yes please!
- Optional River of news interface.
- Filter out or group posts that contain the same info/links.
- A “Read All” option.
I’m trying out FeedDemon right now and I really like it. So if Bloglines ain’t responsing I’ll make my choice;) Other suggestions (with the above features) are welcome in the comments!
Updated: added the term “freedbacking” to the tags…

Let me know what you think of FeedDemon and the side-by-side comparison to Bloglines. Like you, I’ve been using Bloglines for quite awhile now. Let us know.

I use Bloglines on and off. I find that it’s caching process really annoys me sometimes. If the Bloglines cache is acting up, I can’t see new posts, and the auto-discovery URLs also appear to be cached.
I need an online reader, though. No doubt about that.
