British Library has an RSS Feed
The British Library now has an RSS Feed, for press releases. You can find it here. This RSS Feed runs on Feedburner on offer two options to receive the press releases via the the feedreader and the other will have press release delivered by email.
The feed delivers summaries of the press releases. And the press releases themselves are mixture of the British Library news, cultural events and related products - like the full audio recordings of Graham Greene.
This is all well and good. The feed is a nice way to distribute information and news about the library. The RSS feed though has more potential than just delivering the news. It can deliver all forms of information. For each collection whether in text, image, audio, or video can be delivered via an RSS or any web feed. The possibilities are nearly endless.
Oh well a day at a time. I suppose.
