Feedburner simplifies blogspot Blogger feed redirect and more Feedburner stuff
News from Burning Question, the official blog of Feedburner, a simpler and more gentler redirection for Blogger blogspot blog feed is now available. Blogspot Bloggers rejoice! But what does this mean? Aside from simplifying the means to redirect your feed? Not to say that this is not a welcome development. According to Burning Question, when you redirect your feed you get the chance to consolidate all subscribers. It turns that sometimes the feed audience is split into several groups by offering more than one feed address. As a result, there maybe some readers that do not get counted. And by redirecting the feed this will consolidate all subscribers and get a more accurate image of your subscribers.
Feedburner has also updated its Quickstart guide to include all necessary information needed to update a feed. The process of redirecting the feed is really simple. Look at the instructions provided by Burning Question:
Starting right now, you just log into your Blogger account, select Settings | Site Feed, enter your FeedBurner feed address and click “Save Settings.” Zap! Pow! Kraaakkkk! Now you’ve got the complete picture of how your content is being consumed out here, out there, out everywhere. [source]
