Feedshow: Feedreader number 3 for me
A week ago my company sent me overseas for some training. Although, there were computers and Internet where I am now it was a bit difficult to set things up mainly because the browsers at the office were not updated to view my present feed readers (Google Reader and Netvibes). These are important tootls for a blogger with an addiction for information. Luckily, I was able to set-up the feeds to be sent by (i) email and (ii) I had with me my OPML - yes I know I am such a dweeb for carrying my OPML on my flash drive. Having my OPML with me allowed me to set-up another feed reader fast. And I was up and running with Feedshow.
Feedshow is a beta release feed reader that does not have any problem with older browsers. Feedshow is an online feed reader that is easy to set-up and has the following features:
- Able to Import/Export feed lists (OPML),
- Organize feeds into Folder categories,
- Allows you to save items locally (Note: I have not yet tested this bit out yet)
- It also converts articles to PDF format and print format
Bottomline: Its free and works with the old browsers ( and with new browsers as well). An ideal feed reader when your normal feedreader breaksdown. The only negative side to feedreader is that you have to login again time after time, but then again it might be caused by the connection where I am right now.
Feedreader also has a revenue generating program for bloggers and publishers. For more details you can check this page.

A stupid question:
If you were carrying a flash drive with you, why didn’t you have your browser(s) there ? Firefox, K-Meleon, Opera, Maxthon ?
