Google Trends and RSS
You may have noticed the new Google tool called Google Trends. With this tool you can get insights into broad search patterns. It shows you graphs with the number of searches for a specific keyword and the number of times the keyword was named in the news. I tested some of the feed-related keywords and got this:
RSS vs Atom;
Music RSS tops Video RSS.
Paris Hilton slaughters RSS;
Feedreaders are very populair in Estonia, Czech Republic and Slovakia;
BlogLines is way more populair than FeedBurner;
Interest in blogs and RSS is much higher than in podcasting and wikis (via micropersuasion.com);

If you change the search terms for the last query to slightly wider ones, wiki actually comes out second, with blogging miles ahead: http://www.google.com/trends?q=podcast,blog,RSS,wiki

Hi Chris, thanks! I think Google should cluster those keywords (blog/blogs) to get better results…

http://www.feedreader.com is a product developed in estonia and widely promoted there. This creates the possible bias
