Jott makes you listen to your feeds
Voice-to-text service provider Jott makes RSS feeds audible and the feature/service is called Jott Feeds [Source] .
The technology used by Jott text to audio and iare made available via Jott’s toll free number - (866) JOTT 123. It said to be available from any phone with no downloads required. Caveat/Note/Warning:The service is currently available to US and Canadian subscribers.
Jott can be used to monitor er listen to one’s:
twitter rss feed
facebook rss feed
and just about anything on RSS feed.
How does one do it? Here is an example of how it works - taken from Jotts press release:
the SmartMoney(R) RSS feed can be added to Jott accounts and personalized to read back financial news on specific companies customers want to follow. Customers then call 866-JOTT-123 and say “Jott Feeds” at the prompt. When asked “Which feed,” they simply reply “SmartMoney,” and Jott will instantly deliver over the phone the latest financial headlines about their chosen companies. [Source]
Additional information can be read the Jott blog.
This might be useful if one is mobile and for specific feeds. At least that is what I think.
So is Jott Feeds and Audible RSS reader?
And I guess there is not point in asking a stupid podcast question. Oh sigh!

So, Jott’s feed reader service and their Jott to Twitter allow me to use Twitter entirely without a data plan or even reading. This is awesome! I will need to try this out.
