Mobile RSS Readers
Reading feeds on your mobile can be a real timesaver. There are a lot of ways you can manage this, biggest difference is the use of a mobile website or the use of an application. Personally I like the mobile sites best, but offcourse you do need a wireless connection with that! Anyway, I’ve made two lists with mobile readers that I know, got any more? Drop ‘em in the comments…
Applications:
- Egress is a application which can display your favorite RSS feeds directly on your PocketPC.
- Feedburner’s Mobile Feed Reader (J2ME).
- Litefeeds is a mobile application which can be used with Java, MS Smartphone, Blackberry and Pocket PC. Managing your feeds is also possible via a browser.
- PocketFeed for your MS PocketPC.
- PocketRSS, shareware for PocketPC.
- Quick News for Palm OS.
- SmartRSS, for PocketPC and SmartPhone.
Websites:
- AvantGo for RSS.
- Bloglines Mobile.
- ifeedyou.com.
- Yahoo Mobile.

I find it ironic that you said “Reading feeds on your mobile can be a real timesaver.” To me, its just something more to do, and some newer way to have all this seemingly necessary info clog your daily life!
I always wonder, no matter how important i deem the info I consume, is it really that important. Shouldn’t i be thinking by myself?
A mobile feed reader (whilst cool) would just stop my from thinking in the times i usually think (walking down the street etc)

Hi Dan, about time saving: on those lost moments, when you’re waiting somewhere or when you´re on a train, I think it’s great to easily check your RSS feeds (when other people read a paper;)
But on the other hand you’re right about those times you are only with your thoughts, we need to have times to think!
