Nokia N810
I was reading through the my reader and came across the Nokia N810. The Internet appliance was originally released in 2007 and then was refurbished early 2008 as the Nokia N10 Internet Tablet WiMax Edition. It is describe as an Internet appliance because it was supposed to act just about anywhere to give a more enhanced Internet experience between the mobile phone and a notebook.
These are the Nokia N810 features:
- 0.55in Thick and 0.5lbs
- Linux Based Open-source Operating System With Skype
- Integrated GPS and Wi-Fi
- Slide-out Full QWERTY Keypad
Other favorite features include:
- 4.1-inch 800×480 touchscreen
- integrated kickstand
- integrated VGA quality video camera.
Its LINUX-based OS 2008 includes an RSS reader, e-mail client, instant messaging, and voice over IP.
I like that it has an RSS reader and by the looks of it would be easier to read from it. One does not need to change orientation of the viewer.
More and more I find myself checking my RSS feeds and email when I am up and about. And the Nokia N810 seems quite handy. And you can make calls via skype but the price at $449.00 simply takes my breath away.
