PayPal co-founder vs Information Overload
PayPal co-founder Max Levchin as a new venture! He wants to free people from the tyranny of information overload. The company is called Slide and was already founded in 2004. Their product is a deceptively simple desktop widget that, as its name suggests, displays slide shows…
Slide lets users choose to stream everything from eBay and Macy’s listings to Reuters headlines, right to their desktop. It’s a handy tool but I’m in no way convinced that this is gonna be a cure for Information Overload, I think we have to come up with something better than this (via siliconvalley.com).
