A Feed Is Born

Photos and feeds

by Juned on February 26th, 2008

You know those times when you clean your room or house and discover something you stash away sometime ago. Well the same thing happens when you tuck away a story you saw for a post. And today I just found a post I tucked away and found it still interesting. The post, rather this post is about Photo feeds that one can add via the Google Photo Screensaver.

How does this work?

Photo feeds are streams of images that can be viewed in Google Photos Screensaver. For example, if you are viewing an album in Picasa Web Albums, you can right-click the “RSS” link at the bottom of the page and select “Add to Google Photos Screensaver” to add those images to your screensaver.[Source]

Looks quite easy? Later on Google warns us about selecting copyrighted material and suggest we use the Creative Commons Photo Pool.

Something fun to do with RSS Feeds.
