RSS Feeds: Mash ‘Em Easily
I’ve written a lot about Yahoo Pipes but I just found something more user-friendly - FeedBlendr. This is so easy my mother could do it (no offense mom). Simply decide what you want your blended feed title to be and copy/paste the feeds you want into the blanks.
When you click on the huge Blend Your Feed button, you will get the url for your feed and even the opportunity to add it to your favorite feed reader automagically.
This is a well thought out and well designed app with plenty of help.
Sorry I can’t write more but I have to blend some feeds! Try this cool ‘blender’.
Oh - if you think you are too geeky for this, check out -
Geeks roll your own.
You’ll find this at the very bottom of the page that returns your FeedBlendr url.

It doesn’t seem to do much though except merge feeds. I can see it being useful for someone who produces many feeds from different apps (blog, Flickr, delicious etc.) and that wants to display one combined feed.
Yahoo! Pipes though allows you to do a lot more.
Apples and oranges surely?

That’s what I thought at first too but it does do more than simply merge - see the page that returns after you merge some.
More than apples and oranges, I think it’s the perception of easy and difficult. For people who are intimidated by Pipes and might not want that much ‘power’, this is an easy alternative.

Thanks - I know this app has been around for awhile but I re-visited it the other day and I like it.
