Someone publishing a blog, but doesn’t know what RSS is!
This is a very typical story about the integration of RSS. The author of BNpositive.com recently visited the website cbcampus.com (powered by CareerBuilder) and noticed they have a blog, but didn’t see an available RSS button to subscribe. So he sent them an e-mail and got the following response:
Tags: careerbuilder, RSSThank you for using CareerBuilder.com! I apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced with our site. However, I cannot identify your problem with the information you provided. If you could respond with specific details of the problem, such as a definition of “RSS Feed”, I would be happy to assist you in any way. Thank you for your patience and have a great day!

Yep! I was pretty shocked. I sent them back a response and link to the Wikipedia entry for RSS and this article from PC Mag: http://ct.enews.pcmag.com/rd/cts?d=184-2427-5-55-283475-294301-0-0-0-1
Maybe they’ll read it and get a clue.

Hi Jason, thanks for the info.
Seems like someone noticed it (or read your final mail) and posted a comment on your bnpositive blog. The link is http://collegejobs.typepad.com/collegejobs/index.rdf
and is also visible on the site now, that wasn’t there before was it?
