Use of RSS has increased by 21 percent

A study published by the Washington -based Internet Communications firm The Bivings Group shows that the use of RSS by a 100 Top American Newspapers have increased by 21 percent since 2006. Ninety-six of the newspapers studied use RSS. And withing this group 93 offer partial text feeds, while three offer full text RSS feeds. According to the report no papers have begun embedding advertisements in their RSS feeds. [Source].

What is interesting here for me (at least is that the web feeds like RSS are becoming common and this is a good thing). I still believe that in terms of web feeds full text is the way to go. And because of this first impressions for a website or a blog will be quite important in the days ahead. What do you think?
